Slit Seeding

Sometimes a dry summer or continuous wiffle ball games in the backyard leave areas of your yard needing additional attention. At Heartland Turf we invested in slit seeding equipment that allows us to slice the ground and drop the grass seeds on those cuts in the ground simultaneously. By using this method we optimize the seed-to-soil contact which provides superior germination rates for those severely damaged areas.
